Alongside with Alfonso de la Torre and Patrick D. Flores, this book conmemorate the poetic work of Fernando Zóbel and Eduardo Chillida, who shared an artistic quest for light in the darkness of Francoism. This exhibition brought together thirteen paintings by Zóbel and ten sculptures by Chillida, illustrated in this catalog. The book also highlights their friendship, which we can read in Zóbel's letters to Chillida and in the interviews with their relatives: Fernando Zóbel de Ayala y Miranda and Ignacio Chillida Belzunce. The latter also allow us to understand how each of these two artists experienced art. The texts are translated into English, Catalan, and Spanish.
