This catalog includes an essay written by Vicenç Altaió, the curator of the exhibition, which shows the important role dreams played in the construction regarding the language of 20th-century art. He also discusses the impressive selection of artworks that are illustrated in this catalog and were as well exhibited in Cadaqués and in our Barcelona gallery. The exhibition has been inspired by two different books, “Trajectoire du rêve” and “Dreams”; there is a selection of texts of these which are featured in this catalog. In addition, the catalog contains contributions by Hans Ulrich Obrist, the art critic and co-curator of the Dreams project, who was interviewed by Llucià Homs; Texts by Montse Aguer, the director of the Museus Dalí, and Rosa Maria Malet, the director of the Fundació Miró; the transcription of a conversation about "Dreams in the creative process of Joan Miró and Salvador Dalí" between Vicenç Altaió and Albert Serra, the filmmaker and philologist, who also has written the closing epilogue.
