Canogar

This catalog delves into the informal period of Rafael Canogar, the last living representative of the El Paso group. Collaborating with curator Enrique Juncosa, this publication offers insights into the artist's informal years within the backdrop of the Spanish political context of the time and the societal inclination to break with tradition. It compiles texts and historical accounts by the artist, alongside illustrations of the 9 works created between 1958 and 1963. These pieces are showcased in Barcelona as part of the monographic exhibition dedicated to Rafael Canogar. Furthermore, all the texts have been translated into English, Spanish, and Catalan.
